The idea flashed through Bumblebee's CPU the moment he calculated the speed and the distance between him and the upcoming curve. She was going far too fast.
He knew, then, that if he wanted her to avoid an accident, he had to take over - so he did. He felt the skid of his tires on the asphalt, and at the right moment, he fired up his engine again, putting in an explosive acceleration that hurled him ahead of the other racers.

Mona smiled and kissed Caitlin on the forehead as Doozy set her down. "We thought you weren't going to make it chica."
Caitlin smiled sheepishly, before she turned to Sam, and her gaze sharpened. "Can I talk to Sam for a bit?"
The other three racers let her go, and Sam nearly tripped when Caitlin dragged him off to the quiet spot behind Doozy's pickup. "Cait, what the-"
"What is wrong with your Camaro?! It's haunted!"
